I came across this article on HGTV.com today....Seriously??? Why oh WHY do people still insist that empty frames are fashionable? They we...
Oh Heidi! I LOVE IT! I love the Damask fabric and what you did with the drawer color on the inside. Huge improvement. Is this for a client, are you selling it or keeping it?
ReplyDeleteThanks :) I'll be selling this one. It still needs a final clear coat, but I wanted to get pictures while my brother was here to take them.
ReplyDeletewow, I really love it! how did you do with the fabric?
ReplyDeleteI love this table. Did you mod podge the fabric?
ReplyDeleteWould love to hear how you actually adhered the fabric and cut it so perfectly!! Well done...thanks for stopping by Pandora's Box!
ReplyDeleteI did use mod podge for this....lots and lots of it...a little more then half a jar...to make it nice and thick, then sanded down the brush strokes with very fine sandpaper. As for the cutting, I got it cut down sorta to size (but big...) then slowly trimmed it down with a heavy book sitting to keep it from sliding around. I read a bunch of tutorials on doing it and some said to make sure you cut the fabric a bit small in case it stretches when wet, so I just tried to make a nice curve that went parallel to the top.
ReplyDeleteWow! This turned out really great! I love the fabric you chose. You did a wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful!
